Developed in partnership with IOMEDIA, View From Section allows fans to see the view from a particular seat before they purchase their tickets, resulting in a more informed ticket-buying experience.
Launched in April 2017 with the AFL and Marvel Stadium, the technology has vastly improved the overall purchase experience for the fan. David Elliott, Head of Consumer Business & Sales at the AFL said, “Ticketmaster’s View From Section has significantly enhanced the way fans can book tickets by removing some of the guesswork and giving them greater comfort in being able to see the available seating options for their chosen game.”
Now 30 of Ticketmaster’s contracted theatres, arenas, and stadium are supported by View From Section, providing a 3D visualisation and virtual design to venue event pages on our website. This has resulted in quicker purchasing times and an increase in ticket sales conversion.
Ticketmaster is committed to expanding the View From Section offering throughout Australia and New Zealand.
