Facebook Official Events are now automated for Ticketmaster venues, helping our clients to reach more fans online.

Ticketmaster event details will now automatically publish on Facebook Official Events; these are the events that appear on the official Facebook Pages of performers and professional teams.

Official Events appear in the 'Events' tab of Facebook pages, which can be manually controlled by the Facebook Admin of each account.

This new automation means removing a major step in the marketing process for Ticketmaster and venues, saving our clients’ time when they would otherwise be manually building Facebook events.

So how does it work in conjunction with Ticketmaster?

All of the event details are published on each venue’s Facebook Official Events tab within minutes of being created on Ticketmaster.

Any changes that may then be made to an event are automatically updated on Facebook, saving the time of multi-channel updates.

Please contact your local Client Manager with any questions.
