Ticketmaster is very excited to announce to our partners that we have secured a new sales avenue for your events through Optus Perks, Optus’ customer rewards program.

Optus Perks is a customer loyalty and rewards program that presents a variety of offers from a range of partners to Optus customers. Ticketmaster Australia is connecting Optus to our partners to offer a brand new sales channel to promote exclusive ticket deals and last-minute offers via the Optus Perks loyalty program. The new partnership officially kicks off on April 4 with Optus Perks set to feature a number of exclusive deals to its database.

This new partnership will provide Ticketmaster clients with access to Optus’ significant national customer base to promote exclusive ticket deals and help sell more tickets. Importantly, access to this program is completely free of charge to all clients. Ticketmaster will manage all aspects of the program on behalf of our clients and all ticket deals will be communicated to the Optus Perks subscriber base at regular intervals.

Optus has a large database of customers throughout Australia and offers multiple marketing and promotional channels to help sell more tickets. Ticketmaster clients with eligible offers will be able to take advantage of Optus Perks’ various marketing methods in order to reach a new, mass audience to help sell more tickets to your events. The specific communication method/s will differ for each individual offer.

In order to be eligible to be included in the Optus Perks program, all offers need to meet particular criteria. The key, overriding criteria is that all ticket deals need to be exclusive to Optus Perks, ‘first in market’ and ‘best in market’.

Ticket offers for Optus Perks may include distressed or last-minute ticket discounts, premium seat allocations for Optus customers, Optus Perks pre-sales and access before general public onsales. Each offer should be made available to Optus Perks for a period of at least one week before other sales channels can be used.

The exclusivity criteria requires the offer to be completely new in the market – it cannot have been offered to other last-minute, discount databases or loyalty programs – and it needs to be a best in market offer. If your offers are eligible, they will be sent to the Optus Perks database.
