As part of Ticketmaster’s partnership with the Perth Royal Show, we will commence selling tickets for the 2016 event over the coming months.
The Perth Royal Show has been has been an institution in the local community since The Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia (RASWA) held the first official show in January 1834.
The Perth Royal Show is a significant event on the Western Australian calendar each year, with more than 400,000 people attending the 9-day show, which will be held between September 24 and October 1 in 2016.
Providing ticketing services for an event of this size and scope is a major undertaking, but Ticketmaster’s experience and expertise in the area will ensure the hundreds of thousands of attendees who attend the Perth Royal Show have an efficient and seamless purchase and entrance process.
As well as advanced sales, Ticketmaster will be responsible for the event day box offices and access control.

Ticketmaster is very proud to be trusted to partner with Western Australia’s longest-running community event. The Perth Royal Show is hugely significant in its region and has been a hallmark of the community for more than 180 years. The show has been held annually aside from breaks during the two World Wars, when the site, the Claremont Showground, was used as an accommodation and training base for military personnel.
With such a long and proud history, there is little wonder the people of Western Australia flock to the Perth Royal Show each year. RASWA passionately supports the show and the education of people of all ages regarding agriculture.
State-based Royal Shows are a proud Australian tradition and they are a crucial tool for ensuring urban families understand the significance of agriculture to our economy. Perth’s show is a shining example of this with many learning exhibits as well as traditional demonstrations and activities.
