The all-new app sees Ticketmaster join the ranks alongside other world-leading companies, such as Facebook, as we focus on high-res imagery as an essential feature.
This update features a new home screen redesign, sharper images and a more fluid browsing experience; all reliant on high-res client assets to ensure we keep delivering the very best user experience for our customers.
We’ve listened to users and also focused this design on the larger, centralised search bar as that’s what the majority told us they want to see when they launch the app. As you scroll through the discovery tabs, the screen will adapt to highlight the search bar and encourage easy browsing.
We’ve also improved the search functionality with enhanced search suggest; upon entering a keyword, the new app will display the event image with a redesigned search results page and updated section headers.
Tapping on a suggested event listing will also take users directly to the event details page, reducing the number of taps to get into selecting and purchasing tickets.
Tickets are straightforward to access on the new Ticketmaster app, even when you’re offline. So there’s no fear of losing your ticket to a show when you stumble upon bad phone signal.
Fans can add their favourite artists to ensure they never miss an event. Plus it’s now even better to browse and buy tickets on the go thanks to our super secure stored payment details.
This update paves the way for even more functionality improvements to come in future apps.
