This month we held our first ever International Summit in London, celebrating 40 years of incredible moments by showcasing the many developments we are bringing to both Ticketmaster clients and fans across the globe.

Ticketmaster Australia client and Group General Manager Crown Theatres, Judy Vince, also took park in a panel at the event.

Held at East London’s Tobacco Dock, the atmosphere inside the venue was electric as we welcomed several up and coming artists to perform in the Ticketweb Studio.

As well as incredible keynotes from Jared Smith, President of North America and Ismail El Shareef, SVP Fan Experience & Open Platform, we took the opportunity to look back over Ticketmaster’s remarkable 40-year history with a special Q&A with one of the founders of Ticketmaster Albert Leffler.

Over 300 Ticketmaster clients attended the event from 11 countries, all itching to hear about the latest products and services we are gearing up to deliver to fans.

From new Discovery experiences, simple, cutting edge event creation & management tools, intuitive reporting, innovative marketing services and advancements in our API & Distributed Commerce strategy. Many of the products were demonstrated live at the Product Lab for clients to get their hands on and try them out.

The highlights? We unveiled new technology for our specialised segments:

  • Front Gate Tickets for festivals: coming to Australia and Europe in 2017
  • Ticketweb Backline for grass roots music venues: coming to Australia and Europe in 2017
  • Universe for DIY and much more: available everywhere and now with EU and AUS currencies and languages

We live for the moment from Ticketmaster on Vimeo.

Here’s to another 40 years of market-leading innovation, an unrivaled passion for live events and the very best in service, technology and marketing.
