It’s that time of year again! Fans can now vote for their favourite event of 2016 and be in with a chance of winning a $100 Ticketmaster Gift Card.

Voting is now open for our annual Ticket of the Year poll, where we call for fans to vote for their favourite live event of the last twelve months.

Whether it was seeing a sports team win big, attending an amazing festival, discovering a new band at a local show or spending the night fully immersed at the theatre, we want to know which live event was the one they’ll never forget.

We’ve also opened the forum for 2017 to find out which event Ticketmaster customers are anticipating most over the next year.

Plus, those who vote will automatically be entered into our prize draw to win 1 of 10 $100 Ticketmaster Gift Cards. It’s all taking place over at Ticketmaster.com.au/ticketoftheyear.

In 2015, Ticketmaster customers crowned Ed Sheeran their Ticketmaster Ticket of the Year, as the Brit star’s stadium tour bagged him the top spot ahead of AC/DC, Matilda the Musical, Les Misérables and The Lion King.

In 2016, Australia has welcomed huge music acts including 5 Seconds of Summer, Ellie Goulding, Slipknot, Jake Bugg, Morrissey, Pierce The Veil, Selena Gomez, The 1975… heaps!

Plus in theatre, world-class productions of Kinky Boots, My Fair Lady, Matilda the Musical and Aladdin are just a handful of the shows that have ensured we were spoilt for choice across Oz.

Elsewhere, we’ve been front row for funny tour moments from Russell Howard, Alan Carr and Henry Rollins. As well as unforgettable sporting highlights across the AFL, NRL, hockey, cricket and so many more.
