Melbourne, (24th November 2017) – TicketWeb, a Live Nation Entertainment company, has launched in Australia and New Zealand. A self-service ticketing solution, TicketWeb is built to service independent music venues and clubs.
RnB Fridays New Year’s Eve at The Palms is the first event to go on sale with TicketWeb in Australia, and will be followed by a second event at Crown Melbourne in the coming days.
TicketWeb acts as a client portal, giving small venues and promoters control and a complete solution to sell tickets through their own bespoke platforms directly to fans. Services will include end-to-end management, event day functionality, social integration, mobile capabilities, integrated marketing and more. In Australia and New Zealand, TicketWeb also begins by harnessing the wide reach of Ticketmaster in both markets.
TicketWeb currently operates in the USA, Canada, Ireland and the UK, where it is the leading ticket website for independent live music. TicketWeb is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ticketmaster.

The history of TicketWeb
TicketWeb was created in the US by a small group of music fans who wanted to build a truly DIY ticket site dedicated to shining a light on the freshest emerging talent.
In 1999, TicketWeb launched in the UK, in the offices above the now legendary Brixton Academy. Word spread and TicketWeb soon became the ticket seller of choice for independent promoters and venues on both sides of the Atlantic.
Two decades later and we’re still proud to be part of that scene but now we also work directly with the artists who fill those venues to make it even easier for real fans to get tickets to their shows.
